You have to find things to pair your espresso with if you truly want to up sell while maintaining the integrity of quality
It’s so satisfying when you can work a regular down from a 16 oz vanilla latte to a traditional cappuccino.
“Wow! This is great! I don’t even need sugar in it or anything!”
Win.
At the roaster/coffee shop I work for the baristas have “secret” plans of action for regular customers who drink milky/sugary drinks. A recent conversion happened when we had the customer move from an iced mocha, to an iced latte, and now she is drinking iced americanos. She want to try a cappuccino, or as she tells us, “If I can drink straight up espresso, I’ll be a badass”. LOL
